The build was pretty interesting. I like the whole design of that model and the way LEGO® did the front. It's a very easy build and a good starter set for young kids.
 
When the model is complete it looks like the one you've seen in the pictures. You get two flick-missiles on each side, which are harpoons. This set doesn't have so many features as other sets, but it's really awesome.
 
All in all, this set is a great set and I would HIGHLY recommend you to get this. You can find this set on eBay and BrickLink for sure.
